Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Inclusion (SENCO) and Safeguarding (DSL)

Salary Range: L9 to L13 including Outer London allowance (£54,750 to £60,073)

Start Date: September 2021

Vaughan Primary School is looking for a new and inspiring individual to become an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team of its school community, to support the journey from its current strong and successful performance through to its next phase of development and growth.  With a stable and supportive Staff team in place and plenty of support from Governors and Parents, our new Assistant Headteacher can look forward to being a key part of shaping our future successes.

West Harrow is well located.  It is easily accessible with great transport links of the Metropolitan Line and bus routes close by and is perfectly located for job seekers from London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

You will support the Headteacher by ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively in a way that maximises performance and standards of the school.

After School Club Playworker

Grade G02 Point 8: £20,451 (£5,831 pro-rata inclusive of London weighting, based upon 0.2851 FTE)

Work Pattern: 12 hrs per week (3pm – 6pm Monday to Thursday), Term Time Only

Vaughan Primary School’s After School Club is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Playworker in its wrap around care provision. 

Vaughan’s After School Club offer extends the school offer beyond the normal school day. The After School Clubs' vision is to provide a safe, caring, happy, warm and stimulating environment for children, where parents and families can feel confident and assured that the staff are dedicated and motivated to provide high quality childcare and play opportunities.

Clerical Assistant with SEN Admin Responsibilities

Grade: G4 Point 13: £22,362 (£12,616 pro-rata inclusive of London weighting, based upon 0.5642 FTE)

Work Pattern: 23  hrs 45 mins per week (1pm – 6pm Monday to Friday, with 15 min unpaid break), Term Time Only

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Clerical Assistant to join our inspiring and supportive team. This role forms part of the school’s admin support working under the direction of the School Business Leader.  

The school is seeking to appoint a skilled person with school or office experience and a working knowledge of data base including SIMs. The successful candidate should be proficient in word processing and be knowledgeable and experienced with using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Publisher.

This is a crucial role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team and a working knowledge of Special Needs and Safeguarding in a school environment is highly desirable.
