Breakfast Club Playworker

Grade G02 Point 8: £20,451 (£3,644 pro-rata inclusive of London weighting, based upon 0.1782 FTE)
Location: Vaughan Primary School, The Gardens, West Harrow, HA1 4EL
Work Pattern: 7.5 hrs per week (7.20am – 8.50am Monday to Friday), Term Time Only

Vaughan Primary School’s Breakfast Club is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Playworker in its wrap around care provision. 

Vaughan’s Breakfast Club offer extends the school offer before the normal school day. The Breakfast Clubs' vision is to provide a safe, caring, happy, warm and stimulating environment for children, where parents and families can feel confident and assured that the staff are dedicated and motivated to provide high quality childcare and play opportunities.

School Midday Supervisory Assistant

Grade G01 Point 4: £20,451 (£4,859 pro-rata inclusive of London weighting, based upon 0.2376 FTE)
Location: Vaughan Primary School, The Gardens, West Harrow, HA1 4EL
Work Pattern: 10 hrs per week (11.30am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday), Term Time Only

We seek a friendly person to join our lunchtime team of School Midday Supervisory Assistants. The right person will be a willing and able team player who has experience of working with children. Our team provide guidance and support to children in our school during their lunchtime break.  Supervision of children on the school playground and in the dining hall requires someone who has ability to multi-task and who can be firm yet fair.

Our team of SMSAs support our Welfare Officers by dealing with minor ailments in the playground during lunchtime and in ensuring children who do require medical attention are referred through to the Welfare Room.  We therefore seek a confident individual with a pragmatic approach.

We are constantly striving to improve our lunchtime play experiences for our pupils and therefore welcome applications from creative individuals who feel they can further enhance our busy lunchtimes.
