After School Club

The After School Club has been operating at Vaughan since September 1994 in response to parents who requested after school provision for their children.  The After School Clubs' vision is to provide a safe, caring, happy, warm and stimulating environment for children, where parents and families can feel confident and assured that the staff are dedicated and motivated to provide high quality childcare and play opportunities.

The club is based in the both the main school hall and the small hall, which form both a large activity area and a quiet area for the children.  We make use of other rooms in the school for specific activities and have access to the large playground and MUGA pitch.

The service is run by a committed and skilled team of playworkers who maintain a happy and carefree environment where children ranging from Reception to Year 6 are provided with varied, stimulating, relaxing and age appropriate activities including construction, arts and craft, home learning, sports and organised games.  Children are free to choose what they do in the Club and the play workers help facilitate the rolling programme of activities on offer.

The Club is open from 3.25pm to 6.00pm and costs £10.00 per session.  Healthy snacks and drinks are provided by our caterers Taylor Shaw, to ensure compliance with the school food and nutritional standards.

For further information on the After School Club, parents should contact the School Business Leader via the school office.
